Ten years ago today, May 21, 2011, we lost an American Hero. One of Maryland’s Finest.
Today, we honor Fallen Hero TFC Shaft Hunter. He was devoted to his faith, family, and friends. Shaft was an outstanding trooper and K9 handler for many years. We will never forget.
Family and friends joined today to honor Shaft and his family.

We also remember all our Fallen Heroes that gave their life for the protection of others. We honor and respect them always. One of those brave, valiant police offer’s was Officer Amy Caprio of the Baltimore County Police, who was killed in the line of duty on May 21, 2018.
