The MSPAA are honored to announce the retirement of Chaplain Bill Sterling effective April 20, 2025. Chaplain Sterling has been a faithful member of the Maryland State Police for more than forty-six years. A retirement celebration in Sterling’s honor was held on Monday, September 8, 2025 at the new Berlin Barrack V. After the awards and accolades honoring Reverend Sterling, a delicious meal was provided by current and retired members of the department.
Barrack tours followed the ceremony.
