National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day – January 9, 2026.

Friday, January 9, 2026 is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. For many years, law enforcement and our public render this day as a “thank you” for our police that have served and those that continue to protect and serve the citizens of Maryland. Various measures to recognize our heroes that serve our communities can be done in small gestures to outpouring of support.
This can include dropping off food at the local barrack to sending cards and support to the officers that serve everyday.
Recently we have experienced some of our finest fall from heinous acts of violence to reckless drivers to the enormous stressors of the job. Pray for those we have lost and their surviving families. Here are the names of our most recent fallen heroes.
