The Maryland Department of State Police will host our annual Fallen Heroes Ceremony on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in Pikesville, Maryland. MSP retirees and guests are invited to attend this special memorial ceremony which will commence at 11 a.m. at the Maryland State Police Memorial in the quadrangle of the Headquarters complex. 1201 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208

Our new Maryland State Police museum will also be open for everyone to enjoy. The museum is located in the stone building at the rear of our complex. The Museum will be open for visitors from 10 am until 2 pm.

After the ceremony, approximately at noon, a lunch will be provided in Classroom of C Building .
The Maryland Troopers Association have generously donated the luncheon to the attendees of the ceremony.

Please come and show support to the families of our Fallen, show respect to their service and sacrifice, and reunite with fellow retirees.

(PIKESVILLE, MD) – Governor Wes Moore will join Colonel Roland L. Butler, Jr. and police survivor families on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 to honor state troopers who have given their lives in the line of duty at the annual Maryland State Police Fallen Heroes Ceremony.

The ceremony will honor the 43 state troopers who made the ultimate sacrifice serving in Maryland, along with two troopers killed while serving on active duty in World War II and one fallen deputy chief state fire marshal. 

Speakers will include Governor Moore and Colonel Butler.

In addition to the families of Fallen Heroes, current and retired state troopers and deputy state fire marshals will be in attendance to honor their fellow troopers and deputy
