We regret to inform you of the recent passing of former Maryland State Trooper Ronald Ellecamp of Calabash, North Carolina.
Trooper Ronald Ellecamp
September 15, 1936 – April 14, 2024
Trooper Ellecamp served for the Maryland State Police from 1957 to 1961.
Ron relocated to North Carolina where he was a dedicated member of the Seaside United Methodist Church for over 28 years. He served in various roles at the church and community.
He will be remembered for his sense of humor and gentle personality.
Services will be held on Friday, April 26th, 2024 at 1 pm at the Seaside United Methodist Church, 1300 Seaside Dr. SW, Sunset Beach, NC 28468.
Memorial donations in his memory can be sent to the church.
Blessed are the Peacemakers, for they are called the Children of God.
