The MSPAA sadly announces the recent passing of one of “Maryland’s Finest”, TFC Thomas A. Myrick, Sr., MDSP, Retired.
Obituary
Thomas A. Myrick, age 78 of White Marsh, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2022. Born in San Francisco, CA to the late Frank and June (Davis) Myrick; beloved husband of the late Regina “Jean” (Edwards) Myrick; loving father of John Myrick and wife Nancy of Lanham, Thomas “Tom” Myrick, Jr. and wife Michelle of Edgewood and Todd Myrick and wife Jacqueline of Ellicott City; dear brother of Patricia (Myrick) Martin and husband Terry of Lubbock, TX; proud grandfather of Thomas Myrick, III, Rachael Kirby, Chelsea Waddell, Cameron Smith, Jacob Myrick and Jenna Myrick. Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
He first served in United States Marine Corps prior to joining and eventually retiring from the the United States Air Force Reserve. Tom was a former Maryland State Trooper and was currently a Contract Investigator for the federal government. He will be lovingly missed by his family and friends.
Family received friends on Saturday, January 7, 2023. A Memorial Service was performed, followed by a presentation of Military Honors. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org and/or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
