We regret to inform you of the recent passing of retired TFC Claude Dallas Musick, age 83, of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Musick passed away on June 2, 2026. He is survived by his wife Alice. daughter and several grandchildren children.
TFC Musick spent thirteen years with the department working across the state primarily at the JFK Highway.

OBITUARY
Claude “Dallas” Musick, 83, was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, while surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Russell County, VA on February 15, 1943, he joined the United States Army in 1961, serving one tour in Korea. While on leave, he met the love of his life, Alice, and built a wonderful life in Maryland with their two children, Kim and Clint. Dallas served as a trooper for the Maryland State Police and settled back to Sevier County upon his retirement. He attended Hurst Chapel Baptist Church.
Aside from his family, Dallas’ greatest joy was his “holler.” Pouring his time and energy into maintaining the peace and beauty of his mountain home.
He was preceded in death by his son, Clint; Mother, Letha; Father, Ervin; Brothers and Sisters, Robert (Margie), Virginia Mae (Bill), Charlie, Mary (Ted), Mary Ruth (Roy), Louise (Clyde), and Bobby Joe.
Dallas is survived by his adoring wife of 63 years, Alice Rauhuff Musick; daughter Kim Musick Zong and husband Don; granddaughter Jadie Kyker Singleton and husband Clint; and two great-grandchildren who lit up his life, Carolina and Crosby. He is also survived by his brothers Billy, Kenneth, and Willis; brother-in-law Roy (Wanda) and sister-in-law Bertha Mae; and several nieces and nephews; as well as special friends include his Trooper buddies, neighbors in the holler, and his dog, Jack.
In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a tree in memory of Dallas.
The family will receive friends 11 AM – 12 PM Monday, June 8, 2026, with funeral service to follow at 12 noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Marcus Harrison (Church of God in Redford, VA) and Pastor Jeff Blalock will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Pastor Tim Miller officiating. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
