We regret to inform you of the recent passing of Retired MSP Sgt. Martin Keith Elzey of St. Cloud, Florida on October 12, 2025. Keith work primarily in Dorchester County as one of the best road troopers you’ll ever find. After retirement he continued his career with the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office until retiring from them and moving to Florida.

OBITUARY
Martin Keith Elzey
Martin Keith Elzey, 71, FL of Saint Cloud, passed away on October 12, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 16, 1954 “on a beautiful Sunday, the sun was shining, the birds were singing”, to Milton and Lillian (Hill) Elzey in Cambridge, MD.
Martin was a Veteran of the United States Army proudly serving in the 82nd Airborne, retired from the Maryland State Police, and served as a Deputy with the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Terry Elzey. Keith is survived by his loving family; wife, Kathy R. Elzey of St. Cloud, FL, sons, Bryan T. Hall and his wife, Jessica of Easton, MD, and Brandon M. Hall of Sanford, FL. He is also survived by grandsons, Dominic Guy-Hall of Kissimmee, FL, Alec Guy-Hall of Kissimmee, FL, Evan Hall of Easton, MD, and Lucas Hall of Easton, MD as well as a brother Steve Todd, cousins Carol Rawlings and Elaine Tyler, pets Trooper, Rose Petal, River, and Oakley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
