The Maryland State Police Alumni Association sadly reports the recent passing of Rita Jones Raszewski, 93, of Pikesville on July 3, 2025. Rita is the widow of MDSP Retired Trooper Roswell Jones and mother of MDSP Retired Trooper Roswell.

OBITUARY
Rita Jones Raszewski passed away on July 3, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Roswell Jones and the late Casimir Aloysius Raszewski. Devoted mother of Roswell Jones, Jo Ann Robbins, Joyce Raszewski, and Peter Jones.
Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of the late Edward Schmedes, Catherine Wright, Marie Blich, Lucille Pawlak, “Jerry” Gerard Schmedes, Cecelia Coors, Patty East and Dolores Whitcomb.
SERVICES
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home 11824 Reisterstown Road Reisterstown, MD 21136 on Tuesday July 15th from 4:00pm – 7:00pm.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the St. Charles Borromeo 101 Church Lane Pikeville, MD 21208 on Wednesday July 16th at 11:00am.
