We regret to inform you of the recent passing of Retired Capt. James Cary Attick on May 12, 2025. Capt. Attick was a beloved commander and no nonsense leader in the department for many years, retiring in 1992. Capt. Attick was truly the definition of Maryland’s Finest.

OBITUARY
James “Jim” Attick passed away on May 12, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Donna L. Attick and devoted father of Andrea T. Attick. Cousin of Susie McCauley and her husband Kirk, Lucille Attick, Chuck Attick and his wife Brenda, and the late Joe Mack. Jim was pre-deceased by his brother, mother and father.
