Celebrating Black History Month – Please RSVP by February 12, 2026.
Colonel Michael A. Jackson cordially invites you to attend the Maryland Department of State Police Black History Month celebration on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 1100 hrs., in the MDSP Museum at Headquarters in Pikesville, Maryland.
The event will be an opportunity for our personnel to engage with one another in meaningful conversation in an informal setting. We will hear from former and current personnel as they share their personal and professional experiences before, during and after serving as members of this Department.
The event will also include an update on the Retired Maryland African American State Troopers (MAAST) Cultural History Research Project, an ongoing effort to collect, document and preserve our history and accomplishments as a statewide police force.
