On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, a group of retired troopers and civilians travelled to Annapolis to participate in the Hearing on SB349.
Members of the MSPAA and MTA testified in favor of the Prescription Drug Bill for senior retirees. Between the hearings, members met with various Senators and Delegates to gain their support on the bill while in committee and on the floor.
Thank you to all those that participated with your written communications to your local representative. We can be assured that the legislature are aware that the state police retirees have made their position known.
Pass or fail, we never fail. We will continue to provide information, assistance, or education to our retirees. We will give it our best effort.
